Rihanna for River Island launch

For noget tid siden skrev jeg om Rihanna for River Island fashion showet i London. Jeg var ikke videre begejstret, men vil nu alligevel give RiRi en chance, og derfor tjekkede jeg lige tøjet ud igen på River Islands online shop. Jeg synes stadig at kollektionen er meget præget af basic items og ikke meget wow-factor, men der er dog nogle meget cool pieces imellem. Hvis jeg skulle købe noget fra kollektionen, så skulle det være de 4 ting I ser nedenunder.

Cap'en er super fed, og den fine detalje foran er samme motiv som den tatovering Rihanna har under brystet. 

Skjorten er også ret cool. Den har SS13 tendensen med sort/hvid og stribet mønster, og så synes jeg bare, det ser så nice ud, når den er længere bagpå. 

Nederdelen syntes jeg allerede var ret sej, da jeg så showet. Skjorten, der er bundet omkring, er faktisk permanent tilføjet, og det ser bare lidt "grunge-lækkert" ud ;) Kan huske at Rihanna udtalte i et behind-the-scenes-interview, at det skulle være nemt for at os, at klæde os på, men at vi stadig skulle have muligheden for at se fierce ud ;) (de kalder det et ready-styled look på siden).

T-shirten er umiddelbart meget plain, men jeg er ret vild med ærmerne, som er lidt længere end man normalt ser på t-shirts (lidt ala dem fra A Question Of), og så er slidsen i siden lidt sexy uden at være for åbenlys :)

Synes faktisk også at kollektionens støvler er ret fede - man kan lige ane dem på nogle af billederne. 

English Translation:

A while ago I wrote about the Rihanna for River Island fashion show in London. I was not too impressed with the collection, but I thought I would give RiRi a chance and that's why I checked out the collection again in River Island's online shop. I still think the collection has a lot of basic items and not much wow factor, but I do see some cool pieces among the items. If I had to buy something from the collection it should be the 4 things above.

The cap is super cool and the lovely gold detail is inspired by the tattoo that Rihanna has under her breast.

The shirt is also pretty cool. It has the SS13 trend with black/white and the stribed pattern, and I really like that it's longer in the back.

I already liked the skirt when I saw it on the runway. The shirt that's tied around it is attached to the skirt, and it just looks grunge - love that ;) I remember that Rihanna said in one of the behind-the-scenes-interviews that it should be easy for us to get dressed, but that we should still be able to look fierce ;) (they call it a ready-styled look).

The t-shirt is at first glance very plain, but I love the sleeves that are longer than usual (a bit like the ones from A Question Of), and the side split is sexy without being to obvious :). 

The boots are also quite nice - you can see them a bit in the pictures above.
